It's a Girl!!

We're having another baby girl. Tenley is so excited to have a baby sister. We can't wait to welcome our new little girl.

Baby News

So I was just reading my friend Beth's blog and she is 16 weeks pregnant. She made the comment that nobody can tell she is pregnant. I on the other hand am poking out in my opinion way too much. I'm kind of freaked out about it. With Tenley I didn't really start showing until about 4-5 months and I swear I am that big now. I'm worried I'm going to get huge. And I've been a lot more sick. I don't throw up, I just want to every night. Anyway, that's all the news I have to share. Well and I guess that I am pregnant. We just started telling people, so not too many know. But we are way excited. Tenley can't wait to be a big sister. She tells everyone she has a baby in her belly and its a baby sister. She's so funny.

Annual Cabin Trip

Every year our family goes up the mountain to Ken's Cabin. It is so much fun. This year was a lot of fun because Tenley was old enough to run around and explore. She loved riding on the 4-wheeler and playing with her cousin Deklan. Another fun thing we did this year was shoot skeet. I didn't realize I was such a good shot. It was a ton of fun and great to see all the family and spend time together.

4th of July

Gunnison has the best 4th of July celebration around. It is so fun to go to the parade and then to the park and see people you haven't seen in years or since the last 4th of July. Tenley had a lot of fun catching candy with Papa Van and Grandma Shari. Mike and I had to do the Drill Team float. After the park, we went to Yuba Lake on our new boat that Mike got for free. Runs like a champ, as long as you don't mind feeling like your butts going to fall off every time you hit a wave. Then we went to the rodeo in Salina and watched fireworks. It was a really fun day.

Special Day at the Temple

My cousins came down for the 4th of July celebration in Gunnison. While they were here, the "Hot Malmgren Chicks" spent a day at the temple with Grandma JoBerta. It was such an amazing day. I will always remember it. I love you Grandma!

St. George Vacation

Last weekend we took a girls only trip to St. George. We went to the Tuachan and saw both Annie and Footloose. It was so fun. We did a lot of shopping too. I just wished it wouldn't have rained so we could have spent more time by the pool.

Tenley is Two!

 

Tenley loved her Minnie Mouse birthday party. Lots of family and friends came and she got tons of presents. I can't believe she's two. Thanks everyone who shared in her special day.

Trip to Sego

On Saturday, my dad's side of the family took a day trip to Sego (it's by Green River). There is an old boarding house there that my great great grandma used to run. The outlaws and coal miners would stay there. My great grandma grew up there and helped out. It was really neat to see. The place is falling down because some teenagers started it on fire years ago, but you can tell what it is. It was fun to be with my family and learn more about my heritage.

Finally a Post

So I haven't been able to post because ever since we moved I haven't been able to find my camera's battery charger. Well today I found it and just in time for Tenley's birthday party tomorrow. Yay! So here are a few random pictures just to catch you up.

Our new puppy Sawyer. Mike named her this because our old dog was named Peyton and on the show One Tree Hill, the character Peyton's last name is Sawyer.

WICKED

I was able to go see Wicked this past weekend, and oh my gosh it was so amazing! My boss who I teach dance for bought all of us teachers tickets a year ago. So I've had all year to anticipate going, and it was so worth the wait. I wish I could go see it again.

Potty Training

Tenley has decided she is ready to use the big girl potty. So I have been working with her to get potty trained. She does really good. She tells me when she needs to go and she's only had a couple of accidents when she's wearing underwear or "nunus" as she calls them. And she has to have the potty in the livingroom, but I'm trying to break that habit. I was so worried about having to potty train her but she's the one who decided she was ready and it has been so easy. She is just getting too big.

Cell Phone Tragedy

So Tenley threw my cell phone in the toilet the other day and I now have nobody's numbers. So if you could either text me or e-mail me your phone numbers, that would be great!

Ward Split

So for the new year, they have changed the boundries for the wards down here. It has caused quite an uproar. Mike and I had to laugh because when we were in Eagle Mountain, they split the ward like 3 or 4 times in 2 years and we went to 3 different buildings. But down here, people have been in the same ward since birth. It's going to be a huge adjustment.
